Planning my next move

Today I played Video Chess while playing over the board and was planning my next move thinking ahead of the player when I saw a checkmate before making two more moves with my queen and delivering it to black's king. One of black's rooks was in the way so I took it!

I saw an opportunity earlier but that didn't work so I tried something else and checkmate!
