Noita Eye Glyph Cipher

Today I tried deciphering a string of these strange Eye Glyph characters that I think is a ADFGX cipher? For instance each different Eye Glyph is a letter, like let's say X but I haven't figured out what letters they belong to?

I discovered today that I'm not the only one who thinks so, since someone else said the same thing two years ago! The Eye Glyph cipher is from the video game Noita.
