Formulating a distraction

Tonight I played in another tournament against my most slippery opponent so far in tournament chess, and after sacrificing my knight I was able to move my rook where I wanted it and eventually force a checkmate using it while taking my opponents last rook, which was fooled into taking my knight before.
Sometimes one can't resist capturing a free knight, but it was only a clever distraction.
