Defeating the Pawn and Knight Bots

Today there were some new chess bots for the New month that I played that were based on chess pieces for each character. I managed to defeat the Pawn easily, but the Knight was more of a challenge since it had promoted a queen that was about to sabotage the game for me, but I found a way to capture it once I put black's king in check with my rook and then it was rook takes queen. This comes just after I captured my opponent's last rook, so I was able to promote a queen and deliver a checkmate, and I won after losing a game earlier.
