Checkmate in 17 moves!

Tonight I played Chess with an AI named Maria that has a 1000 rating and is good, accept I managed to outsmart my opponent with a move taking black's knight, and later moving my queen to king, check and then taking black's bishop, check! I then moved my bishop to king and it was another check, and last my rook that delivered a checkmate all in 17 moves total!
