Trapping and cornering the King

Tonight I played a game of chess and was able to deliver another easy checkmate seeing that my opponent's king got cornered against something again, only it was the edge of the board which makes things a lot easier when your trying to deliver checkmate seeing that white's king had no where to go besides a1?
Trapping and cornering the king does pay off and you should always consider it when playing chess. Plan and execute your moves, but think ahead of your opponent also!
