Defeating New Year's Nelson Bot

Today I tried playing against a new version of Nelson that plays better, but I found a way to beat it by trading queens, and using one of my rooks to put black's king in check so I could capture its last rook on the next move since it has to move out of check and was behind it.

I eventually checkmated the king and won out of only the first try but this bot was tricky!
